Guntersville, AL

Guntersville is a working lakeside town with a lot going for it. Lake Guntersville is ranked among the top bass fishing lakes in the country and draws tournament anglers from across the Southeast, but the state park, City Harbor, and the bat cave at Sauta Cave National Wildlife Refuge give everyone else plenty to do too. Downtown has solid locally owned restaurants and a waterfront that looks especially good at dinner time.
